Notice Regarding Acquisition of FSC® CoC(*1)
DAIWABO RAYON CO., LTD., having its registered office in Chuo-ku, Osaka, Japan, represented by Kazunari Fukushima, President (hereafter referred to as “our company”), has recently acquired FSC CoC certification issued by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®), a global organization dealing with forest certification.
Since our company produces viscose rayon fibers from wood pulp, we have a close relation with forest resources. Having worked on getting the certification aimed at promoting sustainable forest management such as reduction of illegal logging, we are now pleased to announce that we have got FSC CoC certification for some of our products.
Our company has been striving to offer reliable products that satisfy customers with the environment policy, “We make efforts to preserve the earth environment indispensable for healthy and cultural life by our business activity that is friendly to both human and the earth,” and will continue to develop and sell eco-friendly functional products by taking advantage of the characteristics of viscose rayon.
(*1)FSC CoC(Chain of Custody) certification verifies an appropriate processing and distribution process of products produced from properly managed forest resources under FSC standards until they are delivered to customers.
